Beware! The "Forever Chemicals"
This project focuses on storytelling through mapping, charting, diagramming, and visualizing stories about the connections between humans, animals, and plants. This project is process-driven and creates opportunities to understand the significance of the interconnections.
With this opportunity, I want to show people that plants, animals, and humans are all connected through the topic of PFAs, also known as "forever chemicals".

PFAs are short for perfluoroalky and polyfluoroalkyl substances and include chemicals known as PFOS, PFOA, and GenX. They are man-made chemicals that have been used in industry and consumer products worldwide since the 1940s. They have been used to make nonstick cookware, water-repellent clothing, stain-resistant fabrics and carpets, some cosmetics, some firefighting foams, and products that resist grease, water, and oil.
